At the 75th World Congress and Media Innovation Festival of the International Press Institute (IPI), held in Vienna, more than 600 participants from 90 countries gathered under one shared conviction — that independent journalism remains democracy’s first line of defense. Among them was Bosnia’s Oslobođenje, representing the Western Balkans’ voice in global conversations on media freedom, innovation, and survival.
