Katy Perry, 39-godišnja zvijezda objavila je na društvenim mrežama da njen album izlazi u septembru, dok se priprema za predstavljanje glavnog singla "Woman's World" u četvrtak, 11. jula.

Naslov albuma "143" je šifra za "Volim te" koja se često koristila u porukama slanim tokom devedesetih godina prošlog vijeka.

Perijeva je u izjavi rekla: "Odlučila sam stvoriti hrabar, bujan, slavljenički dance-pop album sa simboličnih 143 numeričkih izraza ljubavi kao porukom."

To će biti prvi album od Katy Perry nakon "Smile" iz 2020., koji nije ponovio uspjeh njenih prethodnih ploča, prenosi "Music-News".
